A product design studio in Cape Town making one-off prototypes and small runs.
The brief
They needed small labelled parts and fine detail that their router struggled with.
What we did
- Placed a benchtop engraver beside their 6040 on a solid bench
- Set up separate trays for each material
- Wrote a feeds and speeds sheet for their common plastics
- Added a fixture plate for small housings
How it turned out
Small labelled parts that used to go out to a supplier are now made in-house the same day.
