Clearances and placement
- 1.2 m loading side for sheet
- Power source on a shelf away from the spark zone
- Extraction hood or downdraft ducting
- Fire extinguisher within reach, mounted
Power
Dedicated circuit sized for the power source, often three phase for thicker plate.
Air and extraction
Clean, dry compressed air at the pressure the torch asks for. Fit a water separator and filter at the table, not only at the compressor.
Print the floor layout sheet and mark the footprint in tape on the floor before delivery day. It is much easier to move tape than a machine.
