A small furniture and display maker in Durban near the harbour.
The brief
Collets were rusting over long weekends and dust was caking inside the extraction hoses.
What we did
- Rerouted hoses with fewer bends and steel clips
- Set a monthly inside-hose check
- Added light oil storage for collets and spare bits
- Put a dated filter card on the booth
How it turned out
No more rusted collets after long weekends, and suction at the hood stayed consistent through the humid months.
