A small manufacturing business in Centurion running a router most of the day on shopfitting parts.
The brief
An ageing controller crashed the gantry twice in one month and the owner was considering a new machine.
What we did
- Refreshed the pendant and set soft limits
- Had the emergency stop circuit checked by an electrician
- Started a quarterly service plan
- Backed up all settings in two places
How it turned out
No crashes since the refresh, and the owner postponed buying a new machine.
