A university-linked maker space in Stellenbosch with many student users.
The brief
Finish quality varied from day to day and nobody owned the spindle care.
What we did
- Introduced a ten-minute morning care routine
- Mounted the care set beside the router
- Added a laminated tick card
- Trained two student assistants to run the routine
How it turned out
Finish became consistent, and broken bits dropped noticeably over the semester.
