What the numbers mean on the floor
Space. About 800 x 600 mm floor space for the fan unit, plus hose routing.
Power. Fan on its own circuit if possible, so a trip does not stop the router mid-job.
Air and extraction. Not needed.
Questions to ask before you buy
- Ask for the airflow at the hood, not at the fan.
- Check the filter rating for fine MDF dust.
- Make sure replacement filters are available locally.
