Who it is for
Shops doing repeat brackets, plates, small machined parts or anything that comes back every month in the same shape.
What it does on the floor
A modular aluminium plate with a hole grid, soft-jaw clamps, datum pins and small pockets for job labels. Set up a job once, photograph it, and the next time it takes minutes instead of an hour.
It turns a router or plasma table into a repeat-part machine. The time saved on setups is often more than the time saved on cutting, especially for small batch work.
Mistakes we see in the first month
- Losing datum pins, so setups drift from one batch to the next.
- Not photographing the setup, so nobody remembers how it went together.
- Over-clamping soft parts and marking them.
South African conditions
Agricultural and mining-support shops often get the same bracket order every season. A labelled fixture saved from last season pays for itself the first time it comes back.
Space and power at a glance
Sits on the router bed or plasma table. Store spares in a wall case. Nothing to plug in.
Care at a glance
- Wipe the plate and datum holes
- Return pins to their foam
- Check clamp threads for chips
Spares worth keeping close: extra datum pins, soft jaw pairs, spare clamp bolts.
Before you email
Read the specs for the numbers, the layout notes for floor space and power, and the care routine for what the machine needs each week. Then email cnc@cncpme.co.za with your city, what you cut most, and a photo of the space.
